If you've run an interview lately, you may have run across something like this...

Ridiculous stories, major historical errors, but they're still great entertainment... and the shooting locations in Croatia and Slovenia are spectacular... a few undubbed sections where there's a lot of shouting in German are somehow utterly hilarious...

Watching this one 30 min at a time on the stairclimber. A 1962 schniztel western (german) as opposed to a spaghetti western (italian) presents cliches of cliches and historical goofs (Totem poles in a Ute village??) in an endearing fashion so archaic it's good. Featuring Herbert Lom as the bad guy dubbed into English....
I look forward to watching the other 6 Old Shatterhand films a half hour of pain at a time! thanks for digging this up.

Blomkamp continues his amazing experimentation at Oats Studios, there are now 3 episodes of Adam making for a cliffhanging 20ish minutes of sequential shorts. Here's episode 1...

Canoe and kayaking trips through northern Ontario river systems and along the Missinaibi.
Dan Kirouac, the author-videographer, is a true riverman, at home and capable in all sorts of situations. Minimal talk, excellent guitar music, some fishing. He has also explored along rivers that have never been specifically designated for recreational use (so no campgrounds, etc.) and old portage-plus-paddling routes used by fur traders and before.

The above video is quite political MtnGoat. The speaker is Sharyl Attkinsson, who is not without controversy herself per her Wikipedia entry. She definitely has an agenda in this clip masquerading as the lowdown on journalistic integrity. The video features the current president, the former president, the former Secretary of State and a would-be Vice-Presidential candidate from 2008. Looks political and sounds political to me.
Currently Attkinsson has a show on stations operated by Sinclair Broadcast Group who are working to homogenize all the television stations they can get a hold of. Quote: Sinclair has faced scrutiny from media critics, as well as some of its station employees, for the conservative slant of their stations' local news reporting and other programming decisions, and how the company's rapid growth has aided its dissemination of content that appeal to these views.[2][3][4] Sinclair has also faced criticism over business practices that circumvent concentration of media ownership rules, particularly the use of local marketing agreements and similar arrangements to take over stations on behalf of preferred third-parties.
Point being--could we avoid politics on this thread? Thanks, ~z

Thanks for pointing that out, zephyr. I watched the clip and it dripped of agenda and seemed oddly one sided. That's the way things are nowadays though.
