The cliff side site at Golden Lakes is nice.

I liked Summerland a lot with its location providing good views.

As for campsites that I camped at that were in locations with plenty of trees that I didn't mind camping at were Paradise River, Sunrise and Nickel Creek.

Least favorite sites I camped at: North Puyallup, Mowich Lake, Devils Dream and Mystic Lake.

Although I didn't camp there, I thought the Dick Creek site was charming and scenic with only two sites.  I thought the worst sites I saw as I went around the mountain were North Puyallup and Mowich Lake, the former merely nondescript and unattractive, the latter dusty and very heavily trafficked.  Devil's Dream has a soft spot in my heart - where I spent several hours in the company of a Northern Flying Squirrel.

A several quart water container is useful.  Many of the campsites are not conveniently close to their water sources.  Like that nice cliff side camp at Golden Lakes.

I boozed there once. Not sure if it qualified as "big" or not though.
