Puzzlr thank you for all the work you do for the Middle Fork. You're a civic treasure!

Puzzlr: do you know where the road access to the old bridge site (closer to the confluence) was located? Was it through the current day use picnic area?

Good call. If you walk from the Middle Fork trailhead along the trail to the picnic sites near Taylor River you'll see where it used to head out straight for the river. This was the old railroad grade, then later the road.

On the right is the old railroad grade heading straight to the river. The picnic site trail continues left.

The Buffalo Party (aka the Free Sasquatches of America) was going to have a rock festival in Duvall featuring a piano drop from a helicopter.

I was in Duvall for a music concert last summer where they recreated the "piano drop", although with a cardboard piano.
