New Teneriffe trail up, old Teneriffe trail down. After the first half-mile or so I didn't see a single person all day until I was about a third of the way down Teneriffe. Even then it was just a few people.
Tons of fresh snow. It snowed off and on all day. I put on snowshoes around 3,000 feet. There was a good snowshoe trench all the way to Teneriffe, but I had to break trail to Blowdown Mountain. It was deep and slow-going. Nothing particularly interesting about the Blowdown summit...just a clump of trees with no views. But now I can say that I've been there, I guess.
When I reached the Teneriffe summit there was a well beat-in bootpack heading up from the old trail. I stowed my snowshoes at that point and just booted down.
About 12.5 miles and 4,600 ft. of gain RT.
