Just showing two nice day hikes in the Las Vegas area. 1) Valley of Fire State Park. A nice loop from the popular Fire Wave trail continuing on to two short slot canyons.

2) Red Rock Canyon area A nice loop around Kraft Mt.

Thanks, Valley of Fire is big fun. Hidden Valley is to the west, in the Muddies. Bizarre sandstone, very worthwhile.
