I have never heard the term "super bells" but that is Douglasia nivalis. Where did you find it blooming so early?

We rode our bikes up Rock Creek, which is a few miles west of Okanogan off hwy 20. The sunflowers, yeah I know it is balsam root, are at peak bloom today.
What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

It’s nice to see wildflowers from another area. The Mt. Diablo Globe Lily is especially lovely. Great TR too, thanks JimK!
