Work on at Hewitt Avenue trestle. Looks like the Mtn Loop will be less crowded this summer....? WSDOT link (link includes detour routes. Doable, but likely a pain in the ass.) From WSDOT: This work is weather dependent. It is tentatively scheduled from 7:00 p.m. Friday to 4:00 a.m. Monday on the following weekends: May 18 – May 21 June 1 – June 4 June 22 – June 25 June 29 – July 2 July 13 – July 16 July 20 – July 23

Wishful thinking, although I understand the sentiment. Most folks have heard of the sekrit backroad, Hwy 9.

Sure, if you want to be on the "sekrit" back road with 10,000 others up.gif Me? no thanks, I'll stay away! I think many others will, too!
