I did a quick run up Granite Mountain yesterday with Trace after work. The winter route is obviously out for the season. All of the trail below treeline is melted out but there are still some lingering snowfields on the upper mountain. Trail runners were sufficient but our feet were pretty cold and wet by the time we were heading down. If you're a hardcore TAYer there are still some ski opportunities over on West Granite.

Do you have any advices for me ?
Yes. Please move this post over to Trail Talk. You will get more responses to your questions. This forum is for trip reports. After your hike to Granite Mountain, come over here and tell us how it went. But do start another thread. This is Just_Some_Hiker's trip report. Thanks, ~z Note: PM sent yesterday.
