The road is in great shape.
And I did make it to Hope. I think I was the first one in this year.
There is a ton of snow. And the 2 creek crossings aren't fun.
I was glad I wore my heavy weights and microspikes.
Give it another couple of weeks. There will still be snow, to be sure.
But finding your way in will be easier.

Trailhead is up Tunnel Creek. Road goes off Highway 2 right at the sharp turn at the bottom of the steep grade west of Stevens Pass. Lakes are on the PCT.
Thanks for the update. Those unassuming lakes and the PCT up there are among my favorite places to go.
