Has anyone been out on FS 21 or FS 23 lately? Trying to gauge how far you can get until consistent snow. FS website suggested Wright lake was snow free as of the 8th, so I'm guessing its melted a bit more since then. Still probably too early for the high country but was considering some car camping in the area.
Mostly curious about the through routes, 25/21/23, be nice to be able to get to Olallie or takhlakh lake
Call the Cowlitz Valley ranger station in Randle and or Google white pass shopper. The latter sometimes is more up to date than the ranger station folks. The shopper has weekly road and recreational reports.
