Did this one as a thru-hike... stashing one car near Beverly Campground, then driving the second car on up FS-9737 to the Iron Peak Trailhead... where we hiked trail #1399 to the summit (6510') of Iron Peak... then continued cross country off of the summit and down Iron's SSE ridge to where we parked our first car.
A beautiful day in the Teanaway... made more so by the combination of sunshine and clouds.
The 7.1 mile thru-hike gained 2718 feet of elevation.
Photos, trailhead directions and downloadable GPS track of our thru-hike to Iron Peak.

One of my all-time favorite hikes! So is it snow-free? What is the status of all the exotic plants on the way to the summit? That's what I expect in the executive summary.

Two snow patches (one at the Iron/Teanaway saddle and the other just south of the summit)... neither one was an issue.
The flowers weren't impressive... 10 days ago the flower show on our Serpentine Hill hike was ten times better.
