Went up the Mount Washington trail on Fathers Day with my family -- nice of them to do that for me, and we all enjoyed it.
About 500' past the Owl Hike view point there is some large rock fall on the trail. It's obvious it fell out of the rock wall immediately above. I don't remember others mentioning this and searches aren't bringing anything up except for this November 2017 WTA report that says "There was some significant rockfall recently, but it wasn't hard to get around."
The last time I was on this trail was in December 2016 and these rocks weren't there then or I would have taken a photo. Does anyone know about when these boulders came down?
I was up there November 18th 2017 and saw it. I remember thinking it was very recent at the time because I could smell freshly turned soil and the pocket where one rock clearly fell from was a different color than the rest of the hillside.
