Has anybody attempted to drive up Hart's Pass Road (NF 5400) lately? Snotel site says 19" at the pass, so I know it won't go all the way, but I'm curious how far I can make it. Thanks, all

Probably pretty close. On May 30, it was drivable to within a mile of the pass.

Matt, how was Azurite? I am thinking about tagging that and Ballard in a couple weeks.
Edit: never mind! Just saw your trip report!

The snow is gone to Harts Pass and after the next few hot days virtually the snow will be gone all the way to Slate Peak. Was 85 here today and looking at 90 the next few days. As always there will be rough spots and some partial washouts on the road so be careful.

I was up there Saturday and I think that again this year it's in relatively good shape, which is nice. We didn't have any trouble in our crossover type vehicle.
