A little late on this post but some friends and I did Remmel Mt. as a long day trip at the beginning of the month. The weather was great, the trails were generally nice and there was very little snow that we had to cross. We didn't need the ice axes and microspikes we brought. It was great to get out in this area in these conditions and impressive to see the huge area of the Diamond Creek Fire. Lets hope for less burn this year!
