That picture seems to show a particularly strong animus. Kind of scary how much of everything is on film these days. I've been hiking in the remotest parts of a national park and come across trail cameras that are documenting my existence. I can't help but think of the biologist who looks at the tape: deer, deer, deer, bear, deer, deer, deer, bear, etc. etc., hiker guy, deer, deer, deer, bear, etc. I wave and move on.

You left out "guy who wants to set cash on fire." That is, truly, the money shot.

Yeah when I initially heard this report I thought it would have been someone trying to break into the fee drop column, not set it on fire!

I wondered if he could've stolen the money first then set it on fire to cover up the crime, but he could just be an arsonist or someone with a serious vendetta against the park or government. The fire part is pretty scary given how hot and dry it's been and will be again next week.

That's arsonist stance right there in the picture. Watching it burn.
