Most distance and elevation on varied trail terrain that I have been on I hiked with my wife who says after four trips she is ready to turn me back over to Steve. My left calf is near abnormal so it is time to give it a backpacking workout. I must say I have had a great time hiking with Nettie they were all repeats for me but all new trips for her and she loved each of them. The trails were all clear though some were quite brushy in places and eroded in others with one section about .25 mile above the river crossing of stacked up logs (50 yards long) you have to navigate around. Adequate water and tree cover the whole way it was 99 in Twisp, 85 at the TH but 60's with a light breeze throughout the day.
Nice views from Copper Pass. When we did the traverse over from Stiletto Lake, we were unwilling to drop to the pass, not seeing/knowing what was below us. Looks like it would be easier to go up from the pass, when you can see what's ahead.

If you look at the footage where we crossed the head of NF Twisp River you can see a well defined trail heading SE it could go to a camp or lead further good place for a camp also good recon for a possible route up Switchblade peak.
So for once Janette was the stronger hiker of the two! Glad it is now all melted out. In the video it looks like you two crossed the creek just below the falls (the crossing covered in snow that we missed during our attempt last month). But your map shows the trail staying on the right side of the creek all the way to the pass. Assuming the trail shown on the map is wrong.
That is the old trail Steve and I followed when we did Copper Peak the trail Nettie and I did is a reroute that occurred at some point I have a track of both routes posted on here.
