https://www.forbes.com/sites/rrapier/2018/06/29/global-carbon-dioxide-emissions-set-new-record/#26b7f83a43a9
"In April of this year, the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii recorded an average concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide above 410 parts per million (ppm). This was the highest monthly average in recorded history, and in fact according to ice core records it is the highest value in at least 800,000 years."
...
"Since the Kyoto Protocol -- the international treaty that commits state parties to reduce greenhouse gas emissions -- went into effect in 2005, global carbon dioxide emissions have increased by 19%."

Answer at Scripps site
"Independent measurements of CO2 at Mauna Loa are made by scientists with NOAA’s Earth System Research Laboratory and Scripps Oceanography... The two research entities make redundant measurements... as a means of quality control... Though Kilauea volcano is 20 miles away from the observatory, influences from volcanic gases are also slight and screened out before daily readings are recorded."

Don't worry, it's only other people's CO2 emissions for non essential reasons which are an issue.

Mine is not religion. It is based on the links provided and is science based.

The first part of that statement is NOT true. The second definitely IS. It shows a lack of understanding of both religion and science.

Exactly. Nobody is really willing to sacrifice anything. Makes us a bit complicit in today's wildland fire situation, too.
