Bridging Science and Technology to Manage Pacific Salmon in Olympic National Park- Dr. Sam Brenkman, Chief Fisheries Biologist Olympic National Park
Fisheries scientists are working to better understand and manage the unique fish populations of Olympic National Park. This presentation will explore some of the innovative technologies being used to unveil the distribution, abundance, and migration patterns of salmonids. The presentation will also reveal findings from headwaters to sea "riverscape" snorkel surveys and thermal imaging of major Olympic Peninsula rivers, including the Elwha after dam removal.
