I need something I can pick up tomorrow night on the way out of town. Not really going to have time to make one out of PVC. I've seen registers in Gatorade bottles and peanut butter jars hold up well, any other suggestions?

Nalgene bottle. I found one on a summit in Montana that had been placed as a geocache and been in place for nine years. Everything in it was good as new as was the pen for signing the summit log.
