Hamma Hamma Road is now open, so I took advantage of the great October weather and hiked to Lake of the Angels--and the ridge above to check out the start of the Stone Arrow/First Divide traverse for next year. (?) As beautiful as ever! Trail is in great shape. Someone put a hand line on the top part of the headwall since I was last here about 5 or 6 years ago.
