The Colorado Fourteeners Initiative (CFI) builds those nice approach trails to 14er summits. You can take a look at what they do here: https://www.14ers.org Trail building is hard work, and their work benefits all people who love the mountains, as well as protecting the fragile alpine environment which is preserved by established approach trails. CFI is in stiff competition to win some funds to keep their trail building projects going. The Plante Moran’s Charity Contest will donate $15,000.00 to the organization that gets the most votes by the close of Friday's final round of voting. All it takes is a few clicks to help them cross the finish line. https://plantemoran.wishpondpages.com/home

The Colorado Fourteeners Initiative (CFI) finished in first place in the Plante Moran Cares charity contest. CFI will receive $15,000, which will go a long way toward helping CFI complete projects to help preserve the fragile alpine environment of Colorado's highest peaks. The result was made possible by the support of everyone who voted for CFI, including members of the NWhikers community. Again, thank you very much.
