Half right, half wrong. 50%. F.
Also the irony of whining about fox news while posting a link to the equally incoherent huffpost.

Same story is on ABC, AP, BBC, CBC, CBS, Guardian, La Monde, Der Spiegl, and every reputable news service. The report is from 17 different US agencies including DOD, CIA, and NASA. But I am sure you consider all of the above commies.

yeah... but it certainly does provide comic relief here.

Then perhaps you should read the report itself(or better yet look at the raw data) rather than the interpretation of such by far less capable and often very biased journalists. If you must trust journalists, some outfits are obviously better than others, and i just thought it funny that the OP skipped all the decent ones and went strait into biased trash. Your list is... better.
As for the actual report itself, it makes some mistakes and contains some truth. You can see the heavy influence of bureaucrats and incompetent policymakers in places, but some reasonable science appears in others.

A reasonable mistrust of politicians and journalists, both their motives and their intelligence, isn't bias. It's correct and healthy.

Here is a recent book by the denialist's second favorite villain. https://cup.columbia.edu/book/the-madhouse-effect/9780231177863. I have not seen it, but the title is intriguing in that it may have come from an Einstein quote. As I had previously posted on this thread about 30 (subjective) years ago, the closest historical analogy to the largely ideologically-based campaign against AGW was the largely ideologically-based campaign against relativity in early 20th century Germany. There are many similarities, e.g.: arguments among laymen over a scientific a theory which in actuality could only be understood well enough to critique it by people with highly sophisticated mathematics and physics knowledge, cries of “scientific hoax,” and aspersions on the motive of the formulator(s) of the theory. In Einstein's case there was the added factor of nationalism (which Einstein called “a pestilence”) and good old anti-semitism, accusing Einstein of being “un-German” because of his being Jewish. It caused Einstein to muse in a letter to a colleague “This world is a strange madhouse. Every coachman and every waiter is debating whether relativity theory is correct. Belief in this matter depends on political affiliation.”(Since it was translated from German there are variations of this quote, in some versions it is “house of fools.”) In any case, if the author of the above book was aware of this quote it may be the source of the title. On the other hand, since AGW warming denial by laymen is clearly madness, maybe it was the obvious choice even if he wasn't aware of quote.
It is also of interest to note the effect of the ideology behind the campaign had on German science. In the early 20th century Germany was the most scientifically advanced country in the word, particularly in physics. As the ideology behind the campaign morphed into Nazism most of the top physicists, both Jewish and non Jewish, left the country and German physics never recovered its dominance. Of course the good news part of this was that Germany never developed the atomic bomb. The bad news was that a lot of other countries, with the help of German scientific knowledge, did.
I am pretty confident that everyone on this thread, including scientists like myself whose expertise is in other areas, falls under the rubric of “coachmen and waiters” when it comes to climate models. If you are an exception, show us your CV.

And right back the start...models are not empirical evidence. And they represent nearly all of the basis for catastrophism claims.
You don't need to be an expert to identify basic flaws in science such as arguing a model is empirical evidence. Far from being 'madness', this is simply fact.
The bad news here is that lousy science plus alarmism drives incredible waste, abuses of power, and future abuses of power. The effect of folks with a particular set of ideologies seizing upon the ideal lever with which to drive advancement of their agenda.

We can always count on MG for some unintended irony.

How I learned to stop worrying (about global warning) and love the bomb.
It's apparent from polling and election results that behavioral fixes to slow global warming are not going to work. The majority of people in developed counties are not going to voluntarily reduce their standard of living or submit to higher taxes for measures to slow AGW. Nor are the majority of people in developing countries going to voluntarily limit their increasing standard of living. Thus the only viable option is for a new technology, e.g. fusion reactor power plants, to be developed and massively and cheaply brought online within the next 25 years or so. Possible, but unlikely.
There is, however, another solution: a full scale nuclear war (which is basically the only kind, a “limited” nuclear war would probably be limited for about 30 minutes) and the ensuing nuclear winter. Estimates of the cooling due to a nuclear winter vary from about 2 to 6 degrees Celsius, more than enough to counteract global warming. Of course there will be some, as they say, collateral damage: probably on the order of 3 to 4 billion deaths from the blasts, firestorms, and fallout in the first year; mostly in the northern hemisphere. Many more deaths, and even possible omnicide, from starvation if the word-wide cooling tends more toward 6 degrees.
It is, of course, difficult to assign a probability for nuclear war, but it is definitely non-zero. The high estimate is about 50/50. The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists” has their “doomsday clock” as close as it has ever been (2 minutes) to midnight. Given that the US, Russia, and presumably all the other nuke countries, have a version of the doomsday machine, automatic launch-on-warning, the chance of a false alarm triggering a massive response is not negligible. There are a myriad of examples online of various close calls, false alarms, etc. that have occurred over the years. For example, there are two documentaries about two different people called “The Man Who Saved the World.” A recent book on the topic is “The Doomsday Machine” by Daniel Ellsberg (yes, that Daniel Ellsberg, he was a game- theory expert and war planner).
So there are two looming ecological catastrophes: AWG which is relatively slow (by human standards) and which is getting a lot of press but very little action relative to the scope of the problem; and nuclear war, which will be almost instantaneous, and catastrophic to the point of possibly omnicidal, which gets very little press nowadays, even though according to many experts the threat is greater now than it was under the cold war and only “dumb luck” has prevented a nuclear war so far. So we are basically in a shot-or-hung situation.
But to end on a positive note:
