Presque Isle is a slim peninsula, which juts ~6mi out from the Pennsylvania coastline into Lake Erie. Sand dunes, beaches, grasses, marshland, lakes and of course the encroaching waters of Lake Erie make for a delightful spot to decompress in and to enjoy the plethora of birds. This time of year migratory shorebirds are the star attraction.
