Wow, glad we got to visit Rialto at Thanksgiving before road damage. We did walk that road, though, as we car camped at Mora. It's not horrible and the views turned out better than we thought.

Second Beach is great, but once you're there, you're limited to that beach. You could walk far north on Rialto if you've got the time. Second Beach can also have some limited camping opportunities if the tide is really high, so make sure you check the tide tables and conditions, or you might find yourself moving your tent at 2 in the morning. My favorite though is Strawberry Point at Third Beach, more hiking but more solitude.
