Thanks for the trip report, Nancy Ann. I am hoping to do some snowshoeing up that way this season but it looks like it's quite a bit in before it would be worth it. Hopefully, we get some more snow soon!

Oh, really...I assumed it was just perspective shift as the camera moved ever so slightly while capturing the image. You're a clever one, alright. Anyway, nice shots.

It’s a loop accessed on my iPhone by swiping up on your photo to “effects” and it only works if you use the live setting when you take the picture.

Yesterday we went 4 1/2 miles up the Necklace Valley Trail to where there is a very nice spot along the river. Here is a loop photo.

Two visits in six days, timberghost, only because it’s such low hanging fruit without battling weekend skier traffic at the pass. Also, I wanted to get up to the nice lunch spot at the river which we didn’t have time to do on Tuesday.
It was an easy walk with (semi)waterproof trailrunners, gaiters and Microspikes for the first 4 1/2 miles, then a tangled mess of snow and vine maple after that.

Nancy Ann you should count your lucky stars you were able to get up there and have little snow as on a normal year that wouldn't be the case. These days you battle the slope dopes no matter what day of the week it is.
