It's looking pretty promising out now, at least in North Seattle...

I hope you get to see it. I think here on the northern prairies we'll be treated to more snow clouds. I do recall the last time, and it was interesting, for certain.

If I'd had my head on, would have built a bonfire to dance around. There's an owl calling.

The lucky kid here is only 7 and has already seen 2 lunar and 1 full solar eclipse! Still quite clear in Seattle.

Clear here in Bremerton. Didn't realize you can still see the moon during a total eclipse.

Saw it from Issaquah invisible at totality, clouds? Then a sliver, nearly full now.

Watched it for about 45 minutes. The sky was so clear up here! It's dark in my 'hood, so along with the beautiful moon, next to it was Orion, Casseopiea (sp), and the Pleiades, and millions of other stars and constellations stabbed through here and there with the tips of Doug-fir trees.
So pretty.

Clouds were quite thick at my house so I wasn’t planning on trying to watch it. But 30 minutes prior, a few tiny gaps in the swiftly moving clouds started to appear. Here and there, I’d have a minute of visibility (over the bush, left of the big Fir tree, past the streetlight). Here’s the best pic I could get before the clouds obscured it for the rest of the eclipse.
