Which philosophical foundations do you have? Apparently today I'm a Platonist

The school of don't do quizzes on facebook. Your answers can be used for evil.

What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

A more interesting, in-depth collection of similar stuff (more values-oriented than general philosophy) is on this research website: YourMorals.org. An added benefit is you get to see how your profile stacks up compared to various sub-groups. Caution: you can burn up a lot of time in there. biggrin.gif

Me too. But I didn't especially like the questions posed or the list of answers to choose from.

I also got Platonist, but none of the answers to the questions were what I would have chosen. However, I'd say that to some extent I could be described as a Platonist.

Yah, "forced choice" quizzes are tough. Had to choose "least worst" in some cases. Nonetheless, it says I'm a "Skeptic", which seems about right.

Skeptic here it says. What is a Platonist? I am going to have to look that up.

Skepticism....no surprise there.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

I'm trying to not do a lot of thinking this week. "Lawrence of Arabia" is on Turner right now.

Tried to take the quiz, but several questions didn't provide any answers I'd choose. What does that make me? Something that doesn't exist?

Funny how psychologists spend so much time and effort trying to pigeonhole people.

Same here, but I don't buy it. Quiz says "which of 8 do you belong to." Wikipedia lists 147 schools of philosophy fwiw.
