Coincidentally, my wife and I are planning to visit this very part of Italy (ie Cinque Terre) this May, although it's unlikely I would go for a hike in this area in FLIP FLOPS!

750,000 visitors. Wow. I'm so glad I made a couple of visits here before cruise ships discovered the place. So much has changed in such a short amount of time. In any case good for them for dealing with something that's become a problem.
