Seems that in addition to "Smugmug buys Flickr" impacting photo content here, it appears Google+ is shutting down all consumer (personal) accounts on April 2, 2019 :
Photos and videos from Google+ in your Album Archive will be deleted as early as April 2, 2019


More info here.


Note that photos and videos backed up in Google Photos will not be deleted.

We're slowly rebuilding thumbnails here for all images.  When building thumbnails we also cache a 1600 pixel version of the image so as long as we're done rebuilding thumbnails by April it shouldn't be an issue.
