Oh man. Looks like I need to start a heroin habit so I'll have something to kick and be allowed to sleep outdoors this summer. Who knew like would be this complicated?

No interviews, no book signing events, no appearances at gear stores, no movie deal. People who just do stuff in private for no reason are nuts. They can't be happy.

"...completely cut off from technology ..." no daily check-ins or self-documenting, either? Wow!

I think one of the best "Onion" articles I've read. Helped me to understand and express my best and worst inner feelings I've survived after 68 years on the trail and helped me become a better man by connecting with my real soul! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for my next adventure in trying to feel and understand my insignificant self/place in the enormous universe on my mind!
