I have a signed copy of one of the Alpine guides. I have read all 3 (I think that's how many there were) from cover to cover. It shows his professional side for sure. Very well mapped and written. However, his dirtbag side really has a whole nother meaning. Still loved the man. Even after countless lunches and dinners with him. R.I.P. 😪
