Is there a logging road near Howard? Cant see one on Google Earth.

it's overgrown but it's there, way up close to the ridgeline, below the broad saddle a mile W of Howard

Park at the washout on the index side at the park and prowl. Duck and cover from gunfire for first mile. Good lobster shrooms scattered amongst the similarly colored clay pigeon pieces. The trail past the mine following trout creek seems to be getting overgrown, and possibly rerouted. I recall a sar mission up at sunset a few years ago. Can't find record of it.
