Is it way too early to think about hiking into the lake from off the 410?! That is an area I've only hiked north of the highway for the most part and would hate to find snow still keeping me out!? Any info would be much appreciated.

Yes it's at almost 5k feet up there, it will be a while before it's snow free still. White Pass according to Wash DOT is 500 feet lower and still has 32 inches of snow pack on the ground right now.

I may not be the smartest, I may not be the strongest, but I don't want to be. I only want to be the best I can be.

Kinda thought so. I was up on the Palisades trail a few weeks ago with lots of snow. Then I read it has mostly.melted out, so wishful thinking. Thanks for the reply!
