Take risks not to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping I may not have anyone rocking my world right now but, I don't have anyone messing it up either.

And... While I was living in Florida, my go to tunes whilst chilling on the beach. Everything Blackmill. All of their stuff is relaxing and amazing.

I keep forgetting about this thread. I got on a big symphonic/goth metal kick for quite a while. One of my favorite bands from the genre.

And then I stumbled into folk metal. Folk metal? Is that really a thing? It is, and it actually totally makes sense to me once I listened to some of it. It's kind of like bands like Flogging Molly (who I've liked for years) or Dropkick Murphys taken a step or two further. Some of the bands use the guttural or growly vocal style though, which isn't really my thing.

I've known about Jenny Lewis and her band Rilo Kiley for quite a while. Really gotten into her recently. She's playing the Moore Theater in May. I think the band is permanently broken up and she's just doing the solo thing now. Her solo projects and the band albums don't sound much different to me. I really dig this song.

I've also been on a synth pop kick for quite a while as well (don't look for the pattern, I'm all over the place).

I can dig your appreciation of a wide range of styles otIutb! I recently stumbled across these guys and am really liking them. Modern Bluegrass.
I love this cover of The Cure's "Just Like Heaven."
And on a different note I found this gem from one of my favorite psychedelic bands:

Great new grass team playing a cover from my favorite Band
One of my all time favorite songs
another great voice singing one of the most beautiful songs ever written

Since I have no expectations of forgiveness, I don't do it in the first place. That loop hole needs to be closed to everyone.

Been listening to a lot of one of the largest genius musicians ever borank.gif (Little)Stevie Wonder....
and to lighten it up a bit with more brilliance...

"These are the places you will find me hiding'...These are the places I will always go." (Down in the Valley by The Head and The Heart) "Sometimes you're happy. Sometimes you cry. Half of me is ocean. Half of me is sky." (Thanks, Tom Petty)
