The mariners are 3-7 in their last 10 games. Some previously vocal individuals have been rather quiet, which is odd. I hope that those who often share their thoughts aren’t just passive aggressive, fair weather fans.

Yeah - they're stinking up T-Mobile park. More errors than you can count and little offensive production. Hopefully they'll be better on the road but they're playing some good teams.

They are coming back down to earth. Better than anyone expected though.

Another tough loss tonight giving up 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th. From 13-2 to 19-19.

Hopefully this is Dipoto's plan... Encarnacion, Bruce, Santana and Beckham keep producing and we score another batch of minor league prospects at the trade deadline -maybe some relief pitching. Santana is the only one I hope they keep, but he is likely the one that will garner the most trade interest. They just need to be so far out of it by July that they have no illusions of this being a winning team.

Since I have no expectations of forgiveness, I don't do it in the first place. That loop hole needs to be closed to everyone.

Us Tacoma fans would like Crawford back. Not enough to change the M’s. Lately enough to put the R’s into win territory. Go Rainiers. Come see us in Section N. Best.

Is this one of the worst teams in franchise history ? https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/mariners/bad-with-a-purpose-are-the-step-back-mariners-among-the-worst-teams-in-franchise-history

I hope so, that is the plan in terms of trying to copy the Houston Astro's model. 3 100 loss seasons in a row, then 3 seasons in the middle of the pack, then the WS. Now top of the heap for next few years. Just gotta hope our brain-thrust can evaluate talent better than they have for the past 30 years, ok maybe 25 years (ARoid was the last draft hit that compares favorably to Bregman, Altuve, Correa, etc). I'm scared they will keep Seager, Encarnacion and Beckham and trade Vogie! That would be the classic Mariners move. Jose Cruz jr style. at least we got a couple of good years for our $$$...

They're not gonna trade Vogie, he's under team control for 5 more seasons. The Cruz Jr. trade is a bad comparison because he was traded out of a need for an actual playoff team to bolster their chances. I would expect to see Haniger traded before Vogelbach, honestly, and I don't expect we'll see Haniger traded either. Seager is probably unmovable as well due to how much money he's owed, unless they end up eating a lot of the contract. I absolutely expect to see Encarnacion, Leake, and Beckham moved by the ASB though.

Hot Stove? Glad we got rid of him Going down the A-Roid route... "He was traded to the Mets in a now-fateful December 2018 deal that sent top prospect Jarred Kelenic to the Mariners."

The Mariners, the freakin' Mariners, are currently in a share of the second wildcard spot with the Red Sox, with only three games left in the regular season! After the tumultuous off-season, who could have predicted this finish?

I wish I could watch them, but Dish Network but their contract with Root sports expired, so SOL.https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/root-sports-deal-with-dish-network-expires-leaving-subscribers-out-of-luck-to-watch-mariners-and-kraken/

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.
