Wonderful photos! I saw one once in the Methow Valley. I wasn’t looking for it, so it surprised me. They look so different from our other snakes, mainly the head shape and overall muscular appearance.
I searched and found another Rubber Boa.Larger than the first one. I managed to capture some better images. Beautiful scale pattern. Unique blunt tail that resembles the head. This is about as big as they grow. This one approximately 2 feet in length. They can grow about another 6 inches
