From the Inland Northwest Weather Blog... So any hot and dry weather on the horizon? Not likely as a large trough sets up over the region around the middle of next week. This will likely deliver another round of below normal temperatures and maybe even some showers. The 8-14 day outlooks from the Climate Prediction Center favors this.

There was a front thru the area yesterday with straight line winds strong enough to down trees and peel back a tin roof on a building. Very heavy rain and the strangest cloud to cloud lightning bursts I have ever seen here. Sky was a very deep purplish/red.
