It's a mix of USFS, DNR, private timber and City of Seattle (Cedar River Watershed).
The background seems fine to me.
A map of the area and the hikes you are linking to might be a nice addition. |

Major mountain bike trail in area work has already started in the Hansen Creek area

Yeah that new bike route from Cedar Butte to Hanson Creek will be great when it is finished. I saw the survey work for the trail on the west ridge of Mt. Washington.
I'm not sure why some people have trouble with the boots background pattern causing legibility problems..must be some odd combination of computer or browser. Putting the list of links in a table would fix the problem.
A locater map showing the location of the trails (possibly clickable) would be nice...eventually I'll get around to it...a good rainy day project. |

Whitebark, did you take the site down? It isn't coming up and I am hoping you didn't!! I loved perusing it!

I love your Cedar River hiking site - I have learned a lot from reading it.
I wanted to tell you, in case you don't know, that the Sallal View side-trail on Mt. Wa has lost its sign and is in very bad shape. You might want to hike up there and check it out.
I followed it up to the first switchback that goes up and right off the trail, and I found the nice little rocky view point there. But the trail is very rough these days and is not long for the world.

Your site is great, wb. Thanks for documenting all that terrain in one place. I know it's the result of numerous trips and exploration on your part. There sure is a lot of opportunity for wanderings away from the typical I-90 corridor hordes. |

Is this site down again? Getting error messages when trying to access it. |

I spoke too soon... the main page is there but the hike detail pages are not. Bummer. |
