Did a two-nighter there 30-1st. Great weather. Very few flying biting critters smile.gif We scrambled up what must be Mt.Ann. (couldn't find any reference for this monolith). For a weekday there were lots of day trippers and quite a few climbers going up Shuksan via the chimney route. For any of you thinking of heading there: I would strongly suggest that you take the climbers path that heads east just as you are approaching the lake and camp there. There is good water (tastes better than the lake) and you will have the best views of the mountain. The nicest thing was, that all there, respected the place: ie No music. Trash. Rudeness. Live every day like you will die to-marrow. For some day that will be true.

Thanks for the info. I guess it isn't worth a mention in the Becky Guides.
