Sorry, gang -- another cheesy video! smile.gif Last year I schlepped through the 127-mile entirety of PCT WA K in 1 week (w fire detour), exhausting myself and unable to see squat because of the wildfire smoke. So THIS year I went back with my friend for just the best parts, leaving a car at Cady Creek and entering at Phelps creek. SO. MUCH. MORE. FUN. Enjoy!

Not a cheesy video! I'll watch again at home with sound. Maybe with sound it's cheesy. I'll let you know wink.gif

Ha-ha! It's just McCartney's Singalong Junk as the music. Not too cheesy! smile.gif

Such fun! No smoke this year, despite it being dry. Yay!

Great video! Nice to see the big trees and flower covered slopes. Indeed, you got to see some of the best terrain. (And actually see it.) Thanks for putting this together and sharing !

When I grow up I wanna play.

We did carry water up to Cloudy Pass, but the source was only about .75 miles away.

OK, watched it again, and with sound. Not cheesy; fun! I wonder how Ox did the rest of his trip? Was he going south too?

Kim - Ox was heading south, planning to take a rest day or two near Skykomish when we left him but determined to get as far as he could. I don't know when snow hits the Sierras, but that would be his cut-off, I would think.

If Ox gets into snow in a couple of months down south, I surely hope he uses good judgment. Angels like Nancy to watch over these folks don't come along every day.

Nice! I recognized the music after the first few chords and thought "No way! Who else remembers that song?". Thanks for the report.
