I think it germane to recognize how many of our actions share some aspects with graffiti vandalism. I've done (and almost certainly continue to do) many annoying and destructive things, unawares, thoughtlessly, and sometimes motivated by the same idiotic male egotism I selfrighteously condemn in vandals. That scares me.
