I highly doubt those people who created that will read this post on the web. That is a lot of time to create. I hope they shot off fireworks.

It's a bear circle so that you can use your foodbag as a pillow. I see them all the time on the PCT.

I'm pretty sure all the Squatches are on the Lime Kiln Trail in Granite Falls. Well, I've heard there's an Olympic Squatch population but they're helicoptering them to the Cascades.

I know it probably seems futile, but send the photos to the national forest/ranger district. They make decisions about the future of recreation (permits and such) and so should have all of the info on how people are (mis)using the NF. Or maybe they will do an educational social media post about this.

Being a circular wall must have served some kind of purpose. I have seen a smaller wind break wall on top of Daniel. Small enough for a one man bivy or sleeping bag.

Absolutely the photos and location should be reported to the district authorities. I wonder if the maroons who made that mess had a wilderness permit.
How about a new kind of PSA? "Wanted" posters with photos of the mess. Put up at TH's, visitor centers, social media sites. Not that these guys would care, but it might deter others. And rewards might improve reporting, especially if scofflaws are caught.

Not a bad idea, some folks are clueless, I confronted a few millennials chopping down living small cedars at slide lake about a month ago for fire wood. It was raining. Gave them some dead wood I gathered under cover and gently scolded them, what else can you do? Teach.

Two peoples worked all day I’d bet. They are quite proud of their project. It was built to last a generation. If you knew how to search for embedded location data it would be curious to see their side of the story in FB. Best.

They broke the law, and destroyed... could care less if they felt pride in what they did.
