I'll always be a hiker at heart. A few years ago I got this bike on a whim. It was to fill in the gaps between when either the weather wasn't so good or when I wasn't feeling like hiking. I found out that fat bikes aren't just for sand and snow! With all this talk of electric bikes I thought I'd share. Not all bikes with big tires have motors!!!

My siblings live in Anchorage and have 907 brand snow bikes. 4 inch studded tires. Make for awesome fun on the many miles of snow bike trails that grace. Anchorage ( many illuminated ). They also have more standard mountain bikes for the summer.

I have a 2016 Trek Farley that I've used for snow, beach, bad weather, just something different, etc. Her name is Rosie, from the AC/DC song. biggrin.gif

"Its converted itself" lol.gif Taco'd the granny gear near "Outback" (trail) at Tokul, the Snoqualmie Tree Farm bike trails. Not bad as a 1x10. I traded one lever for another when I got the Fox Transfer dropper seat post. The 'dropper is actuated by a lever. Fox Transfer has been awesome! No play. Helpful when descending steeps, stairs!

Funny. I named my Fat Bike "Marshawn" because it goes through anything and is a beast.
