Pretty spectacular rain/thunder show going down tonight. Lots of cold and wet hikers. And me, warm and safe by my computer wishing I was there with them

If I was under a good tarp I wouldn’t mind camping in this. (Assuming I could stay dry, and safe). The best lightning show I ever saw was near Williams lake. The whole valley would light up.
This one tonight is pretty incredible.

UW football game was delayed a few minutes into the first quarter. I'm guessing it's cancelled by now.

That was a grand light show - longest T-storm in the city I can recall. Reminded me of the ones back east (NY). The only thing I miss about living there, and maybe more fall colors in the trees.

Take risks not to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping
I may not have anyone rocking my world right now but, I don't have anyone messing it up either.

We always have these types of storms in Florida. Especially this time of year during hurricane season.

UW game was delayed 2 hours and 39 minutes and then re-started at 10:30. And I stayed until the bitter end which was approx. 1:20 this morning.

Was driving home from hike near Mt Washington around 8ish after a stop for grub.
Flashes before Tiger like someone was turning on the lights upstairs!
Spectacular approaching Mercer Island on 90.
Through the last tunnel before sheets of Florida rain.
On 5 north wondered how fellow drivers were doing, people were erratic!
Back to the hood drove north on Bellevue to a vantage point for the show!

Yeah, I stayed up watching that too. Offense looks the same as last year, can't get the ball across the goal line.

Heat lightning?
I don't think I ever saw a light show like that in Connecticut.
That was exciting and completely off the hook!
