I was at Holden Village with WTA for a couple days. The larches are beginning to change on the tops of the peaks! When I drove out to Twenty Five Mile to catch the boat, I had some time and went over Shady Pass and up to Big Hill and there was half an inch of new snow there! cool.gif

Did that cow path of a road out to the Big Hill TH get any better? BTW, thanks for the WTA trail work.

I just got an e-mail from a fellow at the Burke Herbarium who was collecting plants on Chopaka Mountain last weekend and said there was quite a bit of snow.

HTT...the road ain't so grand. I have a Subaru Forester and it was bumpy and rutted, but certainly drivable.

OK, thanks for the follow-up post. I had coffee with Wildernessed this afternoon and he told me he and Steve just drove out there and hiked to Graham Mt a few days ago. Sounds like the road has not changed at all since I was there last year.
