Washington State Department of Transportation released a new video today of the Viaduct Demolition along the Seattle Waterfront. More information on their site here. Very interesting. Enjoy, ~z~

I stopped to watch a couple of weeks ago, and although I liked the old highway, the whole waterfront area looks much better now. That jaw-crunching machine was interesting to watch!
Good video, thanks for that.

You're welcome!
I agree the new vistas are amazing to see. I was downtown not long ago and could see the waterfront and the Bay down the street where before it was a concrete highway. ~z

the amount of coordination on this project has been huge. i am working on the colman dock project and some of the viaduct work. it was basically a miracle of sequencing when you consider the 5 year work window of colman dock and the phasing involved there + the viaduct teardown which was contingent on the tunnel being completed.
