Full trip report:

At the beginning of this month before the rain came Connor and I did a day-trip of American Border Peak in just over 11 hours from Twin Lakes TH. We followed the standard route. As soon as you leave the trail from Gargett Mine the rest of the ascent is pretty much all on unpleasant terrain. The rocks were pretty loose even for Rockies standard, but the position of this peak is pretty cool. It's a difficult but not extreme, but lots of objective hazards especially in the chimney. Lots of rockfall, and lots of compact dirt type of choss.
Nice Job Steven. ABP is a memorable summit for sure. Definitely for peak baggers and garbage can summit aficionados only!
Great TR as usual.
For sure ABP is a member of the Repulsive 69.
