Not full scale like there won't be a cave anymore soon. There's a line of snow and ice at the mouth of the cave that obviously fell from the ceiling, and a lot more at the back. I can't really say how much, I saw it from the overlook where the trail ends.
There are signs at the TH and it felt like every 20 feet along the trail saying "CAVES ARE COLLAPSING DO NOT ENTER CAVES!!" I expected it to look worse, but it's obviously not a good idea to go inside. There's a fresh dusting above, but all the snow on the ground could only have come from the cave, and that's obvious to anybody no matter how much or little experience they have.
Of course there were people inside.

And as Ron White said, "you can't fix stupid". I've somehow managed to avoid doing enough stupid stuff over the years that I'm still here, and for that I'm grateful. Now if only I could impart some life experience wisdom directly to the grandkids so they don't have to learn everything by personal experience..... I wish I didn't have to read about people walking into ice caves, unknowingly waiting to be crushed by falling ice.
