Near the Seattle area, ideally. I'm recovering an achilles strain and shouldn't go uphill too much, but I'd like to take a day off this week and enjoy the sun. I was thinking of checkout out Meadowbrook farm. Wish the trails were a bit longer, but I guess I could do a couple of laps.

Discovery Park or The Arboretum are some close in options. Tiger Mountain has all sorts of level loops.

Gold Creek Pond if you're willing to make the drive. Stop at Hyak on the way home and hike along the Iron Horse Trail behind Keechelus Lake.

Lord Hill is quite flat. either stick with the roads, or wander the trails in the forest. Really nice, and opportunity for sunshine here and there. Seward Park. Discovery has some flat trails as well.

The elk herd was at Meadowbrook a couple weeks ago when I was there. Green Lake and Elliot Bay trails are flat and sunny.

Had problems with my achilles this summer as well, the Sammamish River Trail (Redmond-Woodinville-Bothell) is my go to. Flat as a pancake and a lot of sun
