Is the snow deep enough up there now for her to be buried in it?

A correction to some previous information -
Rachel was last seen at approximately 5500 feet at the head of the creek, just at timberline as you start the long traverse.

They are approximately correct(based on the nearby higher elevation snotel data), except that above treeline it was colder and probably much windier with lower visibility and sheltered slopes probably got a bit avalanchy.

I was at 6500' that Thursday the 17th shuttering another LO in the Mt Baker area. It was rather unpleasant: furious snowfall, wind, and visibility less than 100 yds. My inbound tracks were covered within minutes.

So she could very well be under feet of snow? God bless her and her family.

Yeah, this whole thing saddens me. As I was walking across the parking lot to the car the other day, snow blowing all around me, I thought about this young woman, and it was just a sad thought.
...yeah, may God be with her and family now...

From the Skagit County Sheriff:
Search efforts are resuming Saturday and Sunday for the missing hiker Rachel Lakaduk at Hidden Lake Lookout. An aerial search of the area was conducted Wednesday. Ground searchers and Mountain Rescue teams from around the state will be searching this weekend in areas that have and have not been previously searched. We have also requested K-9 teams and Drone operators that are with certified search and rescue teams.
We ask that people not associated with this official search to stay away from the area as interference from people we don’t know are on the mountain will make things problematic.

That is so sad to hear. I guess there's just too much new snow and she is covered by it.
This is just so sad, so sad.

Or she dropped into the woods to seek shelter and didn't survive

Oh no. I have been praying that SAR would find her. Many thanks to all who have given their time and energy to try and bring closure to Rachel's family.
